I'm unable to update my ID14 and 218. Tried on 3 PC's with v37, on all 3 both devices are found but nothing happens. I even tried with 218 to connect directly using crosscable and using static IP's but after finding and listing it in device manager nothing happens. Strange everyone is reporting upgrades without issues. Firewall disabled etc so i'm sure nothing is blocking..
EDIT: found it, disabled igmp-snooping on the interfaces connecting 218 / ID41 and PC. worked.

Why a cross cable? I updated mine from a laptop wired to the network on normal Cat5e cabling.

Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone
If you use no switching devices between the endpoints you need to use a crossover cable?

I just saw this reply on the Roon forum ref volume levelling
Hello @Erich_Fluck,
At this moment in time, MQA playback on the Meridian 218 requires sending a “bit-perfect” MQA audio stream to the device. Disabling Roon’s “Volume Leveling” feature (Volume -> Gears icon) should allow the 218 to Decode and Render MQA content again.
Meridian has announced their intention to ship a firmware update to the 218 with MQA Renderer only mode, so keep your eyes out for that.
Any thoughts

No, you won't be able to "set" anything in a 210 or 218. What Chris meant is that the devices will now act as renderers (automatically) for decoded MQA, as well as accepting and decoding raw MQA.

My IP Control App is now crashing on EVERY startup!
This was after the update to v218 on 218 device and ID41 device.. I think the app need to be updated as well. Can someone Premium find out please?
I tried on both my XS Max phone and Ipad Pro. Both have latest software and checked in appstore for updates.
After pulling the plug to the updated ID41 in my 861v8 the IP Control App no longer crashes. My ID41 is not configured as a source since I use my 210 for MQA decoding. But if you get app crashes, this might be what is causing it...

Initially, I had a little scare as neither of my ID41's were showing in Roon nor in the device manager after I started the update. Switched it all off and back on and it works like a charm. Took 2 minutes in total.

I have been trying this ID41 update in my 818v3 without much joy (using Windows 10 on Microsoft Surface laptop).
I thought I’d try selecting the MC200 rather than ID41. I didn’t make note of any versions, so I’m not even sure if there was an update BUT after updating this, my ID41 then updated without any issue. Now on Version 1.2 Build 218.
I’d been trying all sorts, thinking it was a Windows firewall issue, digging into router settings etc.
Just thought I’d share in case anyone was still having issues.
