This will be of no help to you I suspect, but I also fitted a V12 card which did not have a plate. This was 6 years ago. I have not found one yet, nor, shame on me, have I got round to drilling and filing a blank plate (which I have for the purpose) to do the job. Perfectly feasible but time consuming. I content myself with the thought that the extra cooling must be helpful (and it is out of sight and out of mind, mostly).
