Audio Zone:
F80 with F80 IR control
218 connected to F80 via ifi coax/toslink converter
210 connected to 218 via SL Out Master-SL Input (218)
Now, how do I control system volume this zone in an easy way?
I know that F80 can be configured to accept MSR IR commands. But is there a hidden control path of the F80 say a pin-out of the I80 connector or something that can make this zone easier to volume control? I know there is a G12 IR receiver for the 218.
What I normally would like to do is to select TV source on the remote, that works well with IP-control iOS app today but volume from 218 has no bearing on the F80. I'm fine with not being able to remotely select source on the F80 as I have it on Optical Input all day but I would like to control volume on the F80 output device and source input on the 218.
Is there a simple way apart from having acquiring a G12 to the 218 and program a logitech multiremote with Volume changing F80/M80 (non-MSR) and source TV and Net selection on the 218 via MSR2 commands?

You would need coms for that, so I don’t think so. I have an MS 200 feeding an F80 in Roon and cannot Control volume. I use the F80 remote.
