It looks like my Runco 1080P projector is dead.

I ordered on January 2nd the new JVC RS1000 4K projector which I may get before the end of February.

As part of my Meridian equipment I have a HD621 and I want to know if I can run it with my 4K Oppo Bluray DVD player and the new 4K projector?

I'm thinking in running only the audio from the Bluray DVD player to the HD621 and have it do only the audio while I run the video source directly from the Oppo to the projector.

Can this work as a stop gap until I get the UHD722?

TIA

Yes, that will work, the HDMI 2 output is for audio only, feed it to the HD621.

If you can feed audio only to the HD621 from your sources then the UHD722 is entirely unnecessary.
