Greetings,
Quick question... If I have an export drive which is nearing capacity and wish to add a new location drive for export, will the exporting start from scratch or will it continue from its last entry from the old full drive?
Export is set up for native transfer on a Mac.
Thank you

Never tried it but pretty certain it will start all over again, the export is pretty basic and spanning drives was unlikely to have been included.

If you want to split the library you could tag one half as export1 and the other half as export2 and then export them individually or just buy a bigger drive that allows the full export?
Either way means starting from scratch again.

Export or backup. I thought only backup was incremental.

If whatever you are doing is incremental, it may be possible to get a bigger drive as suggested, but instead of running the slow backup/export again, copy (not necessary to clone) the contents of original disc, including hidden files, to new drive. That would be quicker than starting from scratch and you would need to check things a bit more carefully first few times.

Having a second drive also has benefit of introducing another backup if original backup drive is retained offline.

Thank you, but how do you copy if you're not performing an export or backup?

I didn't think that was possible... I have previously tried a drag and drop from within Control:Mac and that didn't work.
I also tried to mount one of the TwinStore drives in a caddy attached to my Mac but that too wasn't readable...

Please advise

Just use Mac Finder. I am assuming they are regular drives mounted on the Mac. It’s all copied outside of Sooloos.
