Can I use an Oppo 205 to stream music to a 861v4?

It depends what you mean by stream, the Oppo 203 & 205 support DLNA and the 205 has async USB so you can output music via that or digital audio out, but if you have a Albums etc. on a NAS there are easier ways.

I have used a BDP-105 as a streamer and just used the coax digital output into an 861, so I assume a 205 should be even easier? It sounds OK but nothing like an ID41 (or ID40 in the case of the v4) so try to install one of those for preference. Is the 205 Roon capable? Iirc it might be...
