I don't have Sooloos myself, so I haven't tried it, but CrossOver Mac might possibly be the solution. The program enables Windows on your Mac, but without actually utilising the Windows OS. The benefit of the program is that it facilitates running macOS and Windows applications side by side. Not all Windows applications necessarily work in CrossOver (and Sooloos might be one of them), but its worth downloading the free trial software to find out.

I used Crossover, then downloaded Internet Explorer, Control:PC and it works fine on my Mac. Works for uploads but can't back up albums so not ideal. Any ideas?

Thanks for reporting this - there are likely hundreds of us in this boat, and hopefully we can sort out the best solution that doesn't involve buying a PC or having to use bootcamp.
Ideally we could run a program within OSX in a Windows wrapper so we can use our HDTracks or Bandcamp downloads etc. directly from our desktop.
FWIW, I've been experimenting with WineBottler's 2.0 app, without luck to far. Have been able to use it to run several Windows programs, but not Control:PC yet.

It's the serial passthrou that won't work, even if you get it working, I tried this with wine but could not get the serial handoff to work with a hardwired RS232 port or USB converter.

When I get back to UK, I am going to build a wine bottle version of Control:PC to run on a Mac, if you guys want it, then you will be able to control Sooloos again,
Will need feedback to sort bugs out.
Various music kit, lots of IT stuff

Thanks for the workaround.
It works, but kind of slow and glitchy. It's a bandaid for now, definitely cheaper than buying a PC.
Crossover also doesn't support the latest Explorer 11, I only see Explorer 8 available for download.
