Greetings,

I am planning to migrate to Roon. Several months ago I managed to perform a native export from my MC200 using Control:Mac onto an external USB HD.

I recently upgraded all my network gear/ethernet cables and wish to re-perform the Native export. In anticipation of this I erased all files previously stored on the external HD.

When I go into the Export page (Control:Mac) I see the following options:

New Export Destination and "Export Folder" (/Volumes/My Passport for Mac)

When I select "Export Folder" I get the error message : "Selected folder is in use by another repository"

Can anyone offer advice on how to workaround this problem to allow me to re-perform the export unto this existing external HD?

Thanks

If the drive is empty then just choose new export destination and create a new export folder, I have had Sooloos get confused by existing export folders in the past.

Not sure why changing cables and network hardware would require a new backup? A fresh backup is never a bad idea though.

Thank you for your suggestion. I ended up simply deleting the legacy export folder and creating a new folder which solved my problem.

I recently upgraded to a new iMac and decided to experiment with "audiophile" ethernet cabling and LPS for router. I figured I might as well run a "fresh" native export using the new ancillary components.
They may/may not make a difference but I figured a fresh export wasn't a bad idea.

Cheers!

Sorry to hijack your post but can you explain one part of the picture for me. In the manual it says that there should be an 'open' button in the export window in Control:Mac... where does this live?

I am unable to locate this button in any of the export options and it is preventing me from running any exporting functions at all.

I'm on a MacPro and am running CM 2.538. Please advise
