I would like my DVD source to be initially configured to Trifield. The program for the 861 allows me to set it to MusicLogic and some others, but not to Trifield. Does anybody know if there is an alternative way to set this default?

Which software are you using?
When you select source/DVD/Options. Under the presets section you have:
PCM, DD, MPEG, DTS, and MLP
Trifield is listed in the PCM combo box. Its near the top of the list, you need to use the scroll bar to find it.

How embarassing! I was looking at the same combo box, but I forgot to scroll it. Therefore, I was looking only at the last few entries instead of the top where Trifield is located. That should fix it. Thanks for your help.
