Hi George,

Nope it cannot run two IA45 cards from memory, it has issues with clocks.

Regards
Edd

Hi Edd;

Fairly sure it can run two. It is not simple but I know of a couple installs over here that do have 2 in them. You are correct that the clocks are an issue but am positive there was a mod to the second card to only have one clock running. The cards had to be right next to each other....

Best

Marc

Hi Mark,

You are correct, I remember doing 1 or 2 for a couple of customers but they were a bit of a pain, I don't have the stuff on it, but I am sure if George needs to do it I can dig out a few internal contacts that would help.

Hope you are well and business is good

Cheers
Edd

Hi Marc and Edd

Thanks for this. I suppose the next questions would be:

* If the necessary card mods were completed, can one run as MC and the other as 3 x Stereo pairs?

* My 861 already has a large complement of cards, so whilst it could physically accommodate one more, would there be PSU implications? (It's had the Health Check and LPSU fitted)

Thanks!

George

Yes. Only problem (as I remember) is you can only have one card as master clock and the other is a slave to that clock. What inputs and Input configurations are a very different prospect.
