Hi,
Can anybody help me with firmware (8.1) and configuration software, this unit has served me without faults, but yesterday I tried to make some changes, but I fear that the software I have used doesn’t support firmware 8.1 (was already installed) so the unit doesn’t work properly now.

Hi Lars, Firmware should be available from your local dealer or failing that I suggest you contact one of the HH friendly dealers that post on here. I'll PM you their contact details, I'm sure someone will be able to help you. That said, the 861 version 8.1 firmware is compatible with hardware versions 4, 6 and 8, so that's unlikely to be the issue. You said ... fear that the software I have used doesn’t support firmware 8.1 What software are you referring to? You should be using the latest version of Mconfig, that's available to download from Meridian's website. Regards, Carl

Thanks for pointing me to Meridian's website with newest configuration program, I was using a older program; found on an old Meridian support website (Google) now everything is okay again.
