Time to move my M60’s on.

S/N 400576A & B. Purchased by me Sept 2010. Serviced by Meridian a couple of times to my recollection - to check and replaced capacitors as necessary, to repair faulty cut out switch and to upgrade (on a whim) the tweeters. Have the originals if wanted. All work done “mirrored” on each speaker.

Aesthetically in excellent condition, a few very small blemishes, but otherwise pretty good.

Have been in continuous use since I bought them, and are now working just fine. Replacing them with M3’s to tighten up the sound in an acoustically lively room.

Looking at sold prices on eBay, going rate appears to be £450 - £500, so am looking for offers in this order. Have original boxes and will deliver to a reasonable distance from home subject to petrol cost being covered. Otherwise buyer collects.

Have a 541 and choice of Chord cables subject to agreeing prices if this helps.

I still have them. Am about to try eBay. Was going to advertise as a bundled set.

I’ve no real idea what to ask for the 541 on its own. Tempt me!

Any one out there wanting the M60s? They are pretty good speakers (in context).

It was good to meet up with you on Saturday. A most enjoyable lunch! And I will do a bit more digging into the technicalities of why different interconnects may affect digital sound quality.

I'm pleased to say that the 541 is now installed and working. Still a few little tweaks to try out, but simply setting Type 5 and the Music Preset gives the full surround sound I was looking for.

The next question is; Is anyone interested in a 501V analogue pre-amp?

These are still available if anyone interested (the 541 is not).
