Troublemakers: I'm ready to part with my beloved DSP6000s. These were originally 16bit speakers, upgraded as I purchased them (2001? 2002?), to 96/24. I have the original boxes (in storage), but have no intention of putting the speakers into them . While I'm certain I have the original cables and manuals and whatnot, I have no idea what box they're in in storage, so let's just assume I don't have them, and if someday I find them, I'd be HAPPY to post them to you. What I do have on hand are: the two head units; the two base/bass units; two longer-than-normal M XLR cables to connect the heads and bases; one handmade comms cable to connect the speakers; and one digital cable to connect them. That's it. I have a remote too, but it won't change the volume - dunno - I just used my Harmony - no drama. For the last while (after I took them out of storage) I've been feeding them 96/24 SPDIF from non-M sources - hence no other cables/connectors. You have to be able to pick them up. Or have someone pick 'em up for you. I am happy to help you/them carry the two base/bass units down the flight of stairs. They are well-loved, well-used, and work perfectly. They need some cosmetic attention - and I have all the 'stuff' for that (e.g., grill fabric). I'd say they're in a 5/10 cosmetic state currently and could be a 7/10 or 8/10 redoing the grill cloth and with some elbow grease. If you need a PERFECT pair, well, these aren't the droids you're looking for . 10/10 functional state! Make me an offer if you're serious AND you can pick them up. Xoxo, Doody

So I probably overstated with "make me an offer". Honestly I don't need to make any money on them. I do need them out of my way though . Maybe one of you has a kid at school in the Boston area? These will CRUSH their suite/apartment (and the neighbors). Crush it to the point of eviction if they're not careful . Or if you've always wanted a pair of 6000s yourself, well, come and get 'em. Drop me a line! Doody

You are a keen salesman, to the point. I have never in my life seen 6Ks given away so fast. But you know that cause you have an eye for the obvious.
