I am considering a combined theatre/listening room with my current 808v6 and 8000SE’s. I would like to be able to run 2 channel MQA with this. I would also like to add a Trinnov-based 7.2.4 setup using the same 8000SE’s through a 271.
What would be the best way to connect the 8000SE’s to make this work?

You would connect the 808 to the 271 SpeakerLink in and then connect your DSP speakers to the appropriate ports on the 271.

I've been considering a similar setup. If I understand the 271 correctly it has a SpeakerLink input/pass-through for a 2-channel Meridian source (master out?) and a set of digital inputs for the Trinnov.
Maybe one the PPs can comment as I guess it'll be a while before we see many 271's in the wild.
