My G95 is showing signs of age via various occasional glitches.
I wondered what members might recommend replacing it with?

How about a G65, HD621 and an Oppo? Though I'd not purchase a new HD621 as the HD722 will be out soon, but a used HD621 would be fine unless you really do need 4K HDMI switching. Alternatively depending on budget consider a 861v4, 861v6, 861v8. If they have an ID40/ID41 Sooloos card fitted (for streaming) even better. If you wish to consider audio streaming, there is Meridian Sooloos but I'd recommend that you take look at Roon (lots of information over on the Roon Knowledge Base) Regards, Carl

When I had problems with my G95 a couple of years ago Meridian repaired it. I have no plans to replace it. Currently, if it died beyond repair, I would seriously consider the bargain that is the Arcam Solo Movie.

Thanks -- I was hoping for a one box solution so the Arcam may be the answer.
I have emailed M to ask about a service/refurb as well (I know I have to go through a dealer).
Many thanks Philip

How about a G65, HD621 and an Oppo? G95 has five channels of (pretty darn good) class D amplification.

Good point, I forgot about the built in amps.

G55 is a good amp and they come up for sale second hand from time to time. The amp could be paired with a G68 or even 568 if you are looking to minimize cost on the processor.

If you are looking at a one-box, up to date replacement, I think something like the Arcam AV550 is the nearest equivalent (if budget permits)
Main system - Sources (Kodi-HTPC, Vero 4k, FireTV, Sat) into Trinnov Altitude 32 (8-16) (+Roon), Trinnov Amplitude 8 amp & Vivid Audio (Giya G3, V1.5) and REL Stentor III speakers. Others: F80 + Raspberry Pi and other Pi systems.

True. I was treating the source boxes as separate. (And the OP has a PS3)

Rather than replace, have you considered repair?
It may work out cheaper than replacement, especially if you like the functionality you get in an all in one box.
