It isn't on M's website so I wouldn't hold your breath.

It sounded like it was finished & signed off a year or more ago but all appears to have gone very quiet for some reason. I'd have thought that products like that were relatively simple to design & cheap to produce so it could be a nice easy income stream but it doesn't appear to be happening.

Cinema: Meridian 271, 3 x DSP640 (behind screen), 4 x DSP320 (in-ceiling), 4 x DSP3100 (surrounds), 2 x AC12 (interface). 2 x Perlisten D12s subs, Lyngdorf MP40 processor. DT 145" 2.35 AT screen. Sony VW870 projector & S-T lens, Lumagen Radiance Pro.
Lounge: Roon, NUC, Kef LS50 Wireless + 2 x REL Gibraltar-2 subs

PP’s have been allocated stock since January, but they’re just as frustrated as the rest of us on awaiting actual delivery.

My PP informs me that the 210 launch is scheduled for the end of this month...

...but I suspect that it will slip to April 1st. whistle

Hello,

I am trying to decide if I should my upgrade from MS200 to 218 or 210.

Reading through this thread, I came to realization that 210 may or may not be a Sooloos endpoint... Hmm.. any final answer to this please?

If 210 is not an endpoint than I am going with 218... since my MS200 is needed to be somewhere else if I do this upgrade.

Thanks

210 is a Roon endpoint supporting the RAAT protocol, 218 is a Sooloos endpoint running the Sooloos protocol that Roon currently support, Sooloos is now no longer being developed as per Meridians recent announcement.

For clarity, can one stream MQA from Roon through the 210 and pass on a full fat MQA signal via Speakerlink to SE speakers for full decode?

Yes, I believe so.

Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.

Purdeys, Moke, Leica, 'Blad. Only the best.

Thank you very much for your input.

So, in other words, both 210 and 218 can be a replacement to my current MS200 which is connected to DSP6000.2 through (speakerlink+reviver)?

Yes, it just depends which one offers the feature set you require, the 210 supporting Roon RAAT protocol is probably the more future proofed as opposed to the 218 with Sooloos as mentioned in my previous post.

Yes, that is correct. The only issue. You May have within Roon is syncing zones. Meridian MS200 links with the 218. I do this.

These devices won’t sync with other Roon RAAT devices. I do not know about the 210 in this regard.

I use my MS200 to feed a Bluesound Pulse and that way I can sync Meridian with RAAT for my practical purposes.

It would be great if Meridian offered a firmware update for these devices to support RAAT if it were possible, even for a fee, but I’m not holding my breath.

No 18 in the Hall of fame smile I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best:
GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

First, my PP enthusiastically advised that the Meridian 210 would be in stock January 2019...

...then the Meridian 210 was scheduled for release at the end of March, 2019.

Today, my PP has no idea when it will be released

This has got to be the longest running April Fool’s story perpetuated in the entire history of Meridian. (!)
