To partner with a G61R.
Anyone got one they don't use anymore...

Hi,
HD421 or HD621?
If you want it to extract HDMI audio to 3x SPDIF it has to be the HD621.

I have 3 video sources, each with HDMI and optical out and one audio source.
I assume that I can have the optical outs directly connected to the G61R to decode audio for my DSPs (L/C/R 3.0 setup) and have the HDMI from the sources go into a HD421 which will switch video to match audio.
In other words, if I change source on the G61R both the audio and video will switch.
Is that how it works?
More specifically the sources are Virgin Media Tivo box, Samsung Bluray and Xbox One. I assume the HD421 and a Samsung TV will handshake all that OK. No Apple stuff in the mix.
