What DAC did you demo them with? I heard them with a Merging Technolgies NADAC, quite special although I hear they require a significant running in period?
Why external DAC? Kii has its own built in M DSP alike I thought. I was wondering the same when some Dutch online magazine tested the UltraDAC wit Kii I am sure you don't want DA/AD/DA if you want to keep signal clean as possible.

I also experienced a dem with Kii/Nadac combination. I agree with Russ they probably need a good run in period, however more importantly they need a lot of space, not so good close to room boundaries due to rear bass firing. With this in mind the cost of the bespoke stands has to be considered.
I believe M DSP products are more flexible with respect to customer constraints with regard to positioning.
Happy to be corrected as it was a relatively short demo.

You are correct however the speakers have been running for quite a while now and the improvement is significant, also placement has been refined through experimentation.
Which is a problem but not related to MHR other than if you want to use >96k, then you must use MHR.
Thanks for the edification guys.
I personally do not see MHR as a constraint and 808v6/5200SE (full MQA) is great. No doubt in the distant future MQA will be described as a burden/constraint...
