By the way: I am also on Stax, however an old pair of SR-X, being driven by an old Musical Fidelity A1! fed by an Explorer2... The suggestion regarding HQ player is in so far interesting as it is a means to avoid Meridian's own DSP and make comparisons. Best regards Sascha

Others: F80 + Raspberry Pi and other Pi systems.

To keep on comparison thread albeit expanded, there is today no (IMHO) comparison to the Stax 009 c/w with the Kimik version of the 007. Just can't afford them...
