Can't seem to find any Queen on Tidal? Can you confirm it's the UK site?

for general interest: The Goldfinger original soundtrack only has its first track in MQA, the rest of PCM. A number of the universal releases thus far are also similar. Not sure if they will head back and complete the encoding.

Looks like Queen in US Tidal for now. Assume it'll expand to other regions.

Early Rod Stewart albums in MQA. Never a Dull Moment, Smiler, A night on the town, Atlantic crossing, Gasoline Alley etc

No 18 in the Hall of fame smile I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best:
GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

Not sure if these have been mentioned, but the following important albums are now available in the UK (at least):

John Coltrane - A Love Supreme
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Getz/Gilberto
Sonny Rollins - Saxophone Colossus

Also, Gregory Porter - Take Me To The Alley (MQA. 96k) is, I feel, reference MQA material. (I'm sure that the non-MQA is also very good.)

Indeed. It would be hard to make that amazing voice sound bad!

True. But what impressed me was not only the coherence of his voice via my 7200SEs, but also the piano on some of the tracks which was extremely life-like. Audio quality superb throughout.

I can compare Gregory Porter and Getz/Gilberto in MQA and hi res, as I owned the hi res before MQA came out. I'll report back (although I can't do this through SEs).

Interesting to note that most of Norah Jones albums are now available in both 96KHz & 192KHz versions of MQA.

Also the original 44.1KHz versions are still available.

44.1KHz to 96KHz MQA is easily noticeable.

Not had time to compare between 96KHz & 192KHz MQA yet.

It would be interesting to hear if anyone else has had a chance to do so.

I’m relatively new to Tidal (and to Meridian ownership for that matter), so apologies if this a stupid question.

Is there a way to identify in Tidal what the MQA resolution is in order to add the correct version to your library?

So far I’ve only been able to do it by trial and error of adding one Masters version and playing it so what resolution it is, and then trying another Masters version to compare. Even if you have multiple copies in your library there appears to be no obvious way of seeing which is the lower resolution Masters version to remove?
