I finally got a chance to put the G68XXV into the my main theater system.

I used to have 561 and had the 12V trigger from it to my 7-channel amp and it works.
However, I'm seeing different behavior on the G68. The trigger is set to High on all the Sources.

But when the G68 goes on standby, the 12V trigger remain on high, so AMP never turn off.

I thought 12V trigger suppose to toggle High/Low.
Does the G68 implement the 12V trigger differently? It's always on?

You need to setup using Mconfig - low on stand by, high on specific source you set.

Yes, I am using MConfig App. I see setting for trigger to High at the source level, but I don't see setting for trigger to Low when unit go standby. Where is that set?

That is default behaviour I know of. Please check manual - others can chime in. Compared to other electronics gear I did not see any 'pulse' option at all.

This is what I'm seeing. When unit goes to standby, the 12V trigger still remain high. This has the latest 1.5 firmware.

Does anyone ever use this feature to control external Amp? is it the latest firmware that cause this problem?

Reset did the trick. Now get +12V on Source select and +0V on standby
