A Toy with Upgraded audio package, switchable sports exhaust system, plenty of dBs, exhaust sound not as good as it used to be. My guess is you are taking delivery of a Boxster or a Cayman?
DSP8000.1's, 800v4, G68ADV, 218, MC200(1TB), TWINSTORE, QNAP TS-251, Meridian 505, Kef Ci200QL In Wall Centre, DSP3200's rear, Samsung UE65HU7500, Sony BDP-S790, Sky Q Silver, Michel Gyro SE with TecnoArm, Spectral Brick cabinet. Spare; 596, 568.2mm.
The 800D is still great & performing well, up to 2400 CD's on Sooloos (long way to go to catch up with you).
You won't need a great stereo with your Porsche, just drive & enjoy. Albeit, the 4 cylinder wont sound as good as the 6 cylinder, but faster.
I have owned Boxster S's since 2006, currently have a RS60 special. Boxsters / Caymans are the most practical & best handling Porsche's built, and are great as toys (not too bad for every day car also).

I had no idea, after all these years! Is it a daily driver or a track special? Judging from the options, more than just a track car. Are they offering a club sport yet?
When I was tracking my 911 years ago (pre wife and then kids...) , the addition of one piece racing seats was a game changing upgrade. One of many non stop upgrades... Have Pcar ceramic brakes become more resilient?
I am very envious. Enjoy

As someone who owned a car with semi-race brakes (old school, not carbon) can I suggest that a race track is not the place to test these - you want a busy stop/start queuing high street from cold. They did work well though, but only if driving like a pr@t that I would never consider doing these days (seriously).

No, I still have the Aston for dry weekends. For my daily driver I have now got a Lexus RX450h (quite a change from my previous Range Rover). I thought I would try a hybrid as my other half has had an IS300h for a while and that is excellent. There is also the issue of Diesel emissions these days...
The Lexus is like the starship Enterprise compared to the RR and has, shall we say, interesting styling (designed by Darth Vader?)
Excellent choice; I do like the Lexus range. How's the Mark Levinson sounding? When you say Starship Enterprise, do you mean it has far more knobs & whistles?
Without wanting to of off topic, I read a fairly compelling report a while ago that suggested that, despite the diesel emissions, the total environmental impact of a diesel car was lower than the petrol equivalent, but that's a story for another day...
