In my case where Meridian means only Sooloos, I use the DACs in my MC200, MS200 and MS600 and output analog to my systems. This should fit within MQAs protection parameters. However, I agree that these endpoints probably aren't able to be upgraded and if MQA comes to Sooloos, it will be with new endpoints.

The May 06 2015 'Meridian Sooloos Update' from HQ had: MQA. The current system is MQA-aware but during the next few months MQA decoding will be added. This seems to have 'slipped' slightly in scope. Was the "awareness" ever even relevant, if the stated, update to the core capabilities will now never be released? In the meantime, it sure didn't hurt sales of core products and endpoints, which will have to be replaced in many of our systems. I feel a little bad that my MS600 and MS200 will need to be replaced, but I owned them and the MD600 I "had" long before I knew MQA existed. I feel a little worse for the guy who bought my MD600. I know for a fact he did his due diligence and was hopeful, despite the spinoff, that decoding would be offered in the MD600. At least he has the upgraded 808 to decode I guess.

Has the update been released? How do I download it if I have system core on my QNAP? Will it appear in Control:Mac under settings?

Well, I am the guy who got your MD600 and it does MQA well when MQA files are down loaded to it and then played back through the 808v6.
All is well here but it does seem that one needs a decoder with MHR to handle the stream. My impatience is coming with the 861v8 that I have to take offline and go direct to the speakers from the 808 to yield the full fatness of MQA because I cannot get the full benefit of the MQA through the 861 (96/24 choke hold) yet!!! Other than that all is well.

I installed the update from TouchPC. After choosing to install the update I eventually got a message that TPC could not find the core. So I rebooted my MD600. Then the rest of the update installed and all the end-points updated as well. I haven't had a chance to play around with it to see if it fixed the problem with TPC and Tidal.

Update installed. So far I noticed a Power/Standby button in Control:Mac to the left of the zone selector. I was able to put my MS200 in standby.

You can't download it. It will be pushed to your system. Go to Control:PC and there should be an upgrade notice. My system had the notice this morning.

For the first time I have had problems with updating, connection lost to 2 TwinStores and MC200.
My MD600 and 2x MC200 updated without problems, ID40, C10 and TouchPC also okay.
As I had most of my music on one of the TwinStores, and the MD600 only running as core I have installed the Hard Drive in MD600 without problems.
So I am up and running and can hear Music, but need to contact my dealer regarding the 2 TwinStores and 1 MC200.
Hope none of you get these problems.

I can now use TouchPC on my old laptop with low resolution screen. It also has a mini MSR, which I take it is new?
