Hello,
After spending the winter away, I returned home and rebooted the Sooloos system back. It took awhile but it did boot back up. But I noticed that about 3% of all of my album cover art are now blank!
I can access the album thru Control:PC and I can see the cover art there, but when I view it on the Control:15 it's gone.
When I try to copy and paste the new cover art, I get an error message saying that the art work image is not compatible.
How do I get my cover artwork back?
Thanks in advance
Henry

Have you tried updating the metadata on the album? Sometimes you can get cover art to update that way. Be careful with albums that have edited metadata.

Do you use Tidal? If so there is a cover art bug that affects the C15 and Tidal. Meridian is working on a fix.

It seems that the MD600 is starting to get a faulty drive!, I guess I'll have to change my drives and reload my library.
Are the new WD 6 TB drives compatible? Or would I be better off doing the QNAP NAS with 6 TB Drives?
Thanks
Henry

You might want to research solid-state drives though I am not sure of the current state of the technology or price.
But anything to quieten down an MD600!

The new WD Red drives that just came out are 8TB. If you require 8TB mirrored, you must have a gigantic collection! I've had good success with 3TB mirrored WD Red drives.
But I've also already migrated to Roon.
If you have an interest in eventually migrating to Roon, I would suggest going down the NAS route.
The MD600 is designed to be put in a different room, on the LAN, to not interfere with listening. Mine is in a rack in my garage. Ingenious rack/table-top design.
