Howdy,
I've had my G08 for six months or so now and I'm getting a feeling that although I love the sound there's an operational problem going on. It's frozen up on me four or five times in six months, generally when I'm putting a new disc it. This requires me to switch it off and on to reset it. About three months after getting it I noticed that the channels were reversed. I know that this happened with the balanced output of the 588 so I assumed that I'd somehow just missed it in my listening however what happened on Thursday has changed my view. The machine froze up again and when I restarted it the channels had reversed again! I'm not making this up folks! I checked it with a test disc and I had to again change my interconnects around to rectify the problem. I would have assumed that the channels would be hard wired and not have any software control designating left and right but perhaps I'm wrong. Has anybody else had weird things happen to their G08 or does anybody know if the channel id is software controlled?
Cheers,
Craig.

Weird ! I managed to get a G98 to play faster before locking up. That's strange also. If you haven't already, give the gents at HQ a call about your L/R switching.
