On the rear of my 861v4 (latest firmware), the IE42 digital input/out card, i note there is a Bypass and Tape digital output.
(2 x 2-channel SPDIF outputs).

Can you confirm the output from these has the FIFO buffering and Apodizing filer applied as part of the digital processing before it reaches this output.
Or it is raw unprocessed output?

I want to output to a headphone DAC for late night private listening.
However i would like to take advantage of the processing in the 861 before it gets converted to analogue in an external unit.
