I know that this is not currently enabled but would anyone know if it will be possible in the future ie is the actual hardware in the G91 or G98 capable of it?

Thanks

If the EDID in the display shows 1080p as the prefered timing, you can get 1080p today in auto mode. This might work on the JVC2K. I clearly won't work on the Sony Qualia as they won't accept 1080p60 on the digital input.

Stacey,

Does it make you scratch your head in wonder at the decision not to accept 1080p60 on the Qualia?

Cheers,

I don't understand it. A coworker bought a Qualia and is upset he can feed his PC in at 1080p60. He may return and get the JVC.

the used FLI23xx chip should be capable of 1080P, but... on the Holo3d immersive was not legally allowed to use that mode is my impression.
Would be logical if the same chip sits in a faroudja scaler capable of 1080P and they want to protect that market.

I use the G98 DH with HDMI to DVI from Monster(400 series) into
Extend it 2 DVI in to 1 Out and the New iScan HD.
In 720P the iscan kicks the G98`*** !
The G98 seems to have ghosting effects ( have taken contrast down) and there are rippel lines in the picture when the camera moves upwards!
I use an Philips 963Sa as source for the iScan !
Any advice?
