I have 861v4 with linear PSU, and latest firmware.
I use 2 x Analogue OA13 XLR output cards for speaker output.

Is it possible to configure the 2nd output card outputs to duplicate the Main left and right channels, in addition to Main left and right Channels on first card?

I have the main left and right, Centre/sub outputs on first card set to variable output direct to analogue active speakers.

I only use 2 of the 4 channels on the 2nd card for my surround speakers in my 5.1 system. Side left and right.

So I want to use the 2 unused channels on the second card as a 2nd Main Left and right output, but fixed not variable output.

This will allow me to connect directly to my balanced headphone amp, and take advantage of the high quality output from the 861.

I do have the TP00 tape output card, but it is unbalanced, and not as good DAC/output quality as the OA13 cards.

You can't mix variabele and fixed outputs at the same time. The card can be configured to your wishes by changing the jumper settings of the card.

I know that unconfigured *cards* output L/R mains. Not sure what configuring the 2nd card for surrounds would do to the other input. As suggested, probably also variable.

One other gotcha is that room correction is applied to the analogue outputs.

So if i understand correctly, i can set the second card to fixed output and leave at default jumper setting which is to output a replicated left and right channel output, identical to the first card?
I have the OA13 PDF install/jumper settings guide from Duncan's site.

I was not sure if the digital Left and right channel can be routed through more than one OA13 analogue output card.
I will try this at the weekend and see what happens.

Regarding room correction, i guess i can temporarily disable it when i want to use fixed output to my high end headphone amplifier.
Sometimes i want to, or have to, listen through headphones, such as when it is late at night.
Otherwise i would only annoy the wife and neighbours listening at realistic high SPL levels through my main speakers at unsociable times smirk
