Has there been any information from Meridian on the future availability of modifications or upgrades to the G65 and HD621 in regards to 4K High Definition format?
With 4K DLP projectors most likely available sometime this year I may make a move but how would one connect a 4K Blu-ray player into a Meridian system?
G65, HD621, 2 x 5k2SL, 1 x 5k2SLVC, 3 x 5k2, 602 transport, Oppo BDP-93, Sony PS3, Xbox360, Toshiba HD-XA2 HD DVD, Velodyne SMS-1 + 2 x SPLR 1200 subs, 4 x Clark Synthesis Platinum Tactile Sound Transducers powered by one Audiolab 8000P, and two Marantz MA500 mono amps, Runco RS-900 DLP projector, Stewart Studiotek 130 screen.

Personally, I would find a 4k player with 2 HDMI outputs such that the HD621 needn't be in the 4k video chain (i.e one output to feed the projector directly and the other to the HD621 just for audio). The new Samsung player appears to have 2 HDMI outputs.
Main system - Sources (Kodi-HTPC, Vero 4k, FireTV, Sat) into Trinnov Altitude 32 (8-16) (+Roon), Trinnov Amplitude 8 amp & Vivid Audio (Giya G3, V1.5) and REL Stentor III speakers. Others: F80 + Raspberry Pi and other Pi systems.

The HD621 Does it support 4K topic has some discussion about the HD621 and 4K material.
Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.

I will follow the above thread for further news on this subject.
I do hope Meridian does come up with an in-house solution for the 4K format that includes HDMI 2a and the possibility of 60 FPS.

That will probably coincide with the Immersive sound upgrades to the 861v9..
