My MC200 has started to behave oddly. It's connected via SpeakerLink to my 861 and has behaved flawlessly for a couple of years. Now, however, when it's powered on via the iPad app I get either:

* No sound at all from the speakers (DSPs)
* No sound at all but the indicators on the speakers flash wildly
* Sound, but choppy like it missing samples

The only way to fix is a hard power cycle using the rear power switch after which it works fine until I turn it off at which point the process gets repeated on next use.

Sound via Control:PC is fine so I'm guessing the output board is failing. Any other possible causes? Anyone else had anything similar?

I have experienced this issue too - the choppy audio with the DSP's cycling through PCM 88k, PCM 88X, Data NL.

As an intermittent fault - I didn't hold out too much hope for a quick solution, however, Meridian resolved this very quickly.

Their description on the return note was:
As such, it would seem to be a simple cable fault requiring replacement - would of thought it would be fairly easy for a user to fix, assuming it is a standard cable available to source.

I've had it back 10 days now and the issue has not re-occurred.
