I would like to backup Sooloos via Control:Mac to a QNAP NAS drive.
How do I do this without using Qsync as I don't want the files stored on my Mac only on the QNAP?
At the moment I am using an external hard drive through USB but I can't connect the QNAP to my Mac through USB so it has to be over the network.
Any advise would be gratefully received as I spent Saturday going round in circles and getting nowhere.

Create a folder on the QNAP to store the files.
Make sure the Mac can read/write to it.
Then with Control:Mac go to the backup tab and create a backup location, when you do this point it at the folder on the QNAP you have just created.
Start the backup.
Regards, Carl
PS I'm assume you do mean creating a Sooloos Backup as apposed to a Native export. However, if you do want a native export it's a similar workflow ... just use the export tab in Control:Mac instead.

Thank's Carl I will give it a go, it sounds simple enough. Andy Whoopee It worked and it's backing up just fine I did't realise I could connect to the server without going through Qsync.
Many thanks again Carl Andy
