Help!
I am trying to hook up a turntable to my 861v4 and the only analogue input card I have is the IA40.
My problem is I can't configure it to accept stereo input. I've read that this card can be configured so it can accept 6 sets of stereo RCA inputs - rather than 2 sets of 6 multichannel inputs.
I can't figure out how to do this in MConfig. Are there jumpers that need to be altered on the card?
This has been driving me crazy. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You should be able to hook up your turntable to A1-A2 or B1-B2 regardless of the configuration since they are the main left and right channels in a multichannel setup anyway.
I tested a CD player in mconfig and it let me attach a stereo source to the card with no problem.

I thought so too, however, It's not mapping A1-A2 (also tried with B1 and B2) correctly. I have tested this by pulling out the RCAs while playing music in discrete or stereo; when I pull out A1 I get no sound at all, if I pull out only A2, the sound is unchanged.
The strange thing is when DSP is set to Trifield, it is making use of A2 - however - A1 if coming out of the FL and FR, and A2 is coming out of the center channel.

Set it to stereo, not Trifield. See which channel A1 is playing to (L or R). Then plug the other input cable to other jacks and find which one it thinks is the other.

Tried that, and A1 plays through both Left and Right whereas A2 doesn't play through anything in stereo.
Stereo seems to be only playing a mono signal through both left and right.
I have tried various things in mconfig, but this is with one analogous output going into a1-a2.

I feel dumb.
Recently rearranged by system, and the front right speaker got typed as a front left speaker. So I had two front lefts.
Reconfigured the right speaker and all is well in vinyl land!
