I am an Apple Macintosh OSX user only and would appreciate help on how to upload latest firmware and software for room and speaker calibration for G68 controller.
The Meridian configuration application and the firmware uploading software only work under windows. I use a Mac laptop with VMware Fusion, other people have gotten other OS virtualization software to work, too.
You also probably need a specific type of USB to serial adapter, check the wiki (if it is working again).
I've been using Parallels to run Windows 7 Pro and it works fine. I also have a USB to Serial adapter, which can be finicky. Sometimes I need to restart the software or power off and on my M kit to get them to talk to each other.

Once you have a suitable environment to run it, the Mconfig Windows application is available from Meridian, use the Support link at the bottom of this page, then follow the configuration links and download the Common Installer.
If you are also looking firmware that should be available from your local dealer or failing that I suggest you contact one of the HH friendly dealers that post on here.
I'll +1 the VMWare. I've tried nearly all the variations to run windows; be it an old laptop, parallels, boot camp, and finally VMWare. For me and my equipment, I haven't had a single hiccup with my G68 and DSP5000s with VMWare. All the other solutions gave me frustrations pretty regularly.
VMWare is a bit needy in the technical requirements to run its best, however. Quad core (or more) processor is best. 8Gb of RAM. Load it on an SSD. Windows would run awfully slow if I used anything less than the above.
Good luck. I must compliment your system, by the way. ATC speakers are a personal favorite. Feeling a pang of jealousy.

I broke down and bought a ToughBook on eBay just for my Meridian system. Most models have a serial port and can be found for not much more than the price of a keyspan.
