The flagship ca. 11K Euro 8 channel unit was recently reviewed in another forum I wander around in, in which a lot of active speaker people participate. It was raved about how accurate the unit is with DSD multichannel (up to claims best multi channel DSD ever heard).
Link It is exactly the reason why I parted from digital active speakers as the road block boomerang that always comes back, as there is most often only one solution, that is M (besides some very cumbersome solutions or modifications). For analogue active (studio) speakers you find more solutions ending in XLR, like the NADAC.
If you can live with active analogue speaker accuracy the NADAC offers the rest as far as I have read. We can only hope with the emerging AES67 standard and the AoIP solutions the pressure will rise for M to put another coal onto the fire, to increase the steam in their engine / development dep. The NADAC comes with their new software player Emotion based on Pyramix software, which I understood is software used in many, if not most CD authoring environments, so you get quality not necessarily available before (unless we consider M or others to already offer or to exceed it). I understand with JRiver you can also get Dolby Digital files to work, so even home cinema seems possible.
I wonder, if one day with an audio PC and AoIP such units in 8 channel configs can simply be stacked to get ATMOS / DTSx and Auro and so forth. Incredible where AoIP will take us one day.
