Hi

On the hunt for a pair of these after one of mine was destroyed in a power surge whilst living in New Zealand.

I live in Madrid now and looking for a pair located in Europe that must be 240v, ideally with boxes for delivery.

Traditional M Comms and SPDIF connection plus 24/96 fine.

Anyone!?

Jon

Anyone know of anyone with a pair of these they may be looking to move on?

Wondering how the 5200s would compare to the 6000s?

Having done a a side-by-side comparison (non-SL) the 6ks monster the 5k2s.

Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.

Agreed. There is no comparison.

Sounds like it would be difficult to go back! Will hold out of some 6000Ks is I'm lucky.

Depending upon your budget you might consider 7k2s or even legacy 8ks. I've seen some go for not that much more than the "right" price for 6ks.

They sound similar. If you want to crank the volume in a large room, then the DSP6000s will open up better. I'd go with the DSP5200s in a smaller room.

DSP6000, DSP5200, DSP5500VC, P300W, SW1600, G68, 568.2, HD621, G57, G55, Oppo BDP-105.
