I have the requisite software to extract/rip multi-channel audio from CD/DVD/BD.
Is MDMS capable of storing and playing such multi-channel audio?

I store mine on a NAS and currently use my Oppo to playback via the HD621, it will be interesting to see if Roon do Multichannel support?

Still using HDI Dune BD Prime here for multichannel highres PCM.
Multichannel store/playback have been on the wishlist for a long time.
DSP8000SE, DSP7200SEHC, DSP5200SE sides, DSP7200SE rears, 861v8, 210, Sim2 Ultranero 4, Stewart Cinecurve 2.35:1, XEIT CM-5E Anamorphic lens, Dune HD Duo Cinema 8K and Wireworld Platinum 48G HDMI -> UHD722 -> Shunyata Omega Ethernet. Shunyata/Furutech power-cables/filters. SR Master Fuse@861v8. Uptone Etherregen with 10MHz OCXO clock.

Sooloos is able to rip DTS CDs and if you have a Multichannel processor the DTS 5.1 signal will be decoded by your processor.
