TIDAL'ers,

Nothing earth-shattering ... I do much of my casual listening in transit using the native TIDAL applications on iOS devices.

In keeping with the "new music" discovery aspect of TIDAL, I spend much of this time perusing the curated playlists and the new music selections. From these I will identify individual songs which appeal to me and mark them as "Favorites". As time permits, I revisit these songs - listening more critically on my dedicated home system. For those songs which have a continued appeal, I will use the "Complete this TIDAL Album" feature on the C15 to populate the remaining songs on the album.

Bug: these added songs do not play on the C15.

I recognize this is likely a lesser known /used feature on the C15 - but none-the-less, one I use frequently.

I have reported the bug to TIDAL and I am redundantly documenting it here for Meridian. I am interested to know if this defect can be reproduced by other HH'ers?

[Steps to reproduce]

iPad Tidal Application (Version 1.5.0, build 142)

1. Mark a song as Favorite.
2. Exit Tidal Application.

Meridian / Sooloos C15 (Version 2.465)

Navigation starts with screen Focused on All Albums in Music Library and Albums Sorted by Import Date.

1. Select System Settings on Home screen.
2. Select Accounts on System Setting screen.
3. Select Configure from TIDAL account on Accounts screen.
4. Select Import Library from TIDAL on TIDAL Account screen.
5. Successively close opened windows and return to first screen.
6. Navigate to Album containing imported Favorite song.
7. Select Play All Tracks.
8. Select Play Now.

[Expected result]
Song imported with correct Album art and metadata; song added to Untitled Playlist and song play initiates.

[Actual result]
Song imported with correct Album art and metadata; song added to Untitled Playlist and song play initiates.

9. Navigate to Album containing imported Favorite song.
10. Select Complete this TIDAL Album.
11. Select Confirm.

[Expected result]
Metadata populated for all songs in selected Album.

[Actual result]
Metadata populated for all songs in selected Album.

12. Select Play All Tracks.
13. Select Play Now.

[Expected result]
All Album songs are added to Untitled Playlist and played in order.

[Actual result]
All Album songs are added to Untitled Playlist but playback is started with the song previously identified as Favorite. This behavior is independent of the song sequence on the Album (first song or otherwise). All other Album songs fail to play from the Untitled Playlist.

You should be sending that to your Premium Partner of direct to Meridian support at their email address.

This is not the place to report bugs to Meridian, although they have been known to frequent, its not an official channel.
