I had recently the same problem with one of mine Ensembles (see Ensemble starting but not booting ) After some discussion between my dealer and his Meridian contact he could organize a new replacement main board and he gave it to me for free (but he was charged) At the end, I hadn't to replace the main board. Before replacement I checked the Battery and this resolved the problem. Ensemble is running with old main board.
Multiroom: Control:15, 2x Ensemble, Primare SPA22, System Audio Mantra Loudspeakers, Audiocontrol Director, 3200, several ProJect Loudspeakers.
Headphone: Lehmann Audio Amplifier, Sennheiser HD 800.
Vinyl digitalization: VPI HW-16.5 Vinyl Cleaning, Machine, Rega RP 6, Ortofon 2M-Black, Moon 110 LP Amplifier, Focusrite 2i2 24-Bit 96kHz Recording

Looks like a stripped / custom version of an Albatron KI690-AM2
To interact with the board, it looks like an adaptor cable would be needed to hook into the video connector that has been put near where the DVI/VGA stacked connectors would have gone.
The existing picture on Duncan's site shows a board with the video connectors still in place - there may be several revisions floating around.

I replaced the battery in my motherboard and now everything is working again.
Thanks to everyone for the advice.
Pity that I already bought an MD600 as a replacement!
Anyone want to buy an Ensemble from Australia?

Big thanks to everyone. Already wanted to trash my Ensemble. Came across this threat and a few screws later and one new CR2032 Battery she's back up running again

I had 2 mainboards with faulty power supplies.
Changed the FET transistors Q31 and Q32 (on the back) but there was still a short circuit. The driver U6 on top of the board was also faulty.
Also TC10 capacitor (next to the ATX PSU connector) was blown. Replace it with a low ESR type.
