I have been a Meridian user for years and had DSP speakers since 2003. I have just setup a whole new system with:
G68D > AC11 > DSP7200.2 (front) and DSP3200 (rear)
For some reason, I am unable to access, either at the speaker or processor level, any treble, bass, phase, etc. settings. I can send RS232 codes to the processor for testing purposes with the Control Window, but using an MSR+ pointing straight at the processor, no matter what DSP setting (Trifled, Stereo, etc.) and pressing FUNCTION/RIGHT ARROW the only settings I see are Brightness, HS Output (Y/N) and the name of the DSP preset. No Rear Delay, No Bass, Treble, Phase, etc.
Can anyone tell me why? I'm not used to G-series equipment. I've had a 568.2 for years. This isn't a show-stopper (I don't adjust these much) but I'm curious as to what's going on. I can't find any reference n the manuals or online for this.
Thanks,
John
Main system: Cable, Apple TV, HD621, G68D, AC11, 218, DSP7200SE (L+R), DSP3200 (L+R Rear) 2nd system: Cable, Apple TV, MC200, HD621, 568.2, M3100 (L+R)
Did you configure it using the latest config program? If I recall lots of options are disabled now by default, in the config program try right clicking on the G68 and selecting properties, from there check if any extended menus are unticked? Sorry if this is a bum steer!
Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to do it. In fact, checking some test configs setting up a G68 with ANY DSP speaker turns off Bass, Treble and Balance as options. With analog speakers configured Bass, Treble and Balance are shown as a global DSP variable. With DSPs, they are not. This doesn't happen when I make a config with a G65. Anyone have a clue what's up?

I had this issue with a 568.2mm/DSP setup a while ago. You have a G98 - did you click "Meridian DVD player present" as I vaguely recall that was the issue...
In the spirit of Spinaltap, I would like to confirm that I am not involved in the corrupt theft of a global sport.
