Roon setup (temporary): 2009 Macbook Pro with a 1TB Hibred Drive and 4Gigs of RAM, Peachtree Audio T1 USB to SPDIF. FLAC files are kept on the QNAP TS-451 NAS. I use Rosewill (Newegg) Cat-7 Ethernet Cable on all connections.
Before you start editing genres... Wouldn't it be better to wait for a new version of Core Control or Control:PC? The editing process might be much easier in a new version.
I always make sure some basic data is present at import although I find genres difficult as non mainstream music can be difficult to box like that. "Brilliant tunes" could be a good Genre I think. Thoughts, Chris
