Great to have an update (the "old" version worked fine for me as well, but hey I am not complaining about progression ).
I am not sure what fast app switching does. Switching between apps by double clicking the home button on the iPad (iOS7) and back to the CCA always shows "loading playqueue" ditto with the update.
It is not faster as before. Anyone? Cheers!

Mmm, I am not sure if that is right Carl unless "application" refers to Meridian apps only.
It is advertised as "An updated version of Meridian�s Core Control App for Sooloos, with �fast app switching�, will be released. This enables the user to switch from one application to another without closing either, thus simplifying its use. The new version of the Core Control App also features a dedicated button to go to vMSR."

I just bought an iPad and don't have the Global Cache unit yet, so I haven't tried vMSR. As I just bought it I've only used iOS8, but it has a standard fast app switching. If you sweep the screen sideways with four or five fingers it changes between open apps fast. In my opinion it works great.
I will soon get the Global Cache unit and vMSR, so I say thanks in advance for this app and the upgrade.
