Not as yet. I did think about it but can't find a link for it anywhere.
It seems happy to do a fresh back up of my complete library, but quits when I attempt an incremental back up. It's been fine up to now, so all very strange.
Then open a browser and put your Core's IP address in, when the window opens you will be advised more features are available if you install Control:Mac, and that is it.
The problem is still persisting. I've reinstalled Control:Mac, rebooted everything in the system. I even went as far a buying a new drive and doing a fresh back up but it only gets so far before stalling.
I then have to manually restart the backup process until it eventually stalls again and now with only 22 CDs left to go it quits every time I try to get it to run.
Is there any info I can look for in the debug menu that would tell me what's going on?
Use the Sooloos interrogator to compare what is in the backup folder vs what is in the library.
This will identify the 22 remaining. Export them all. Then delete them and reimport. Rerun backup.
You might also query the backup folder to see the last folder created. See if you can see anything odd/incomplete in it. Open the files in notepad to see what the album is. This could also be the album causing the issue. Export/delete/reimport.
Failing all that... search the forum for other ways to backup.
Interested to know how many albums total you have on your system. I encountered a similar scenario. Other IT literate members may be able to throw more light on this subject. I kept plugging away for days on the backup and finally gave up with 6 albums of approximately 4K that would not play ball. I wish you the best to resolve this issue. Hector

I've got 4628 Albums. I had it all backed before but the old drive stopped mounting for some reason.
I'm giving it another shot, this time I formatted the drive as Mac OS journaled. Previously i'd used ExFat. Not sure if it'll make any difference but worth a shot.
maybe a Wild-a**ed-guess but Mac OS X is FreeBSD Unix based, and you might have been dealing with file ownership and / or permissions & Attribute issues with the pre-existing files.
When you re-initialized the file system with the new file system, it removed all the files and you recreated them with your current unix ID and default permissions.
Using non-HFS formatted drives on OSX has always resulted in a few odd behaviours, in my experience, so this was probably the cause of the problem. If it recurs, try the "repair permissions" option in Drive Utility as your first port of call - quit Control Mac, repair permissions, reboot, then try the backup again.
Cheers ... Kent
