Hi,
Is it possible to use an AC11, AC12, or Reviver via their RS232 interfaces to send (inject) SpeakerLink commands like EBA On/Off in a system where the controller is an 861v4 or similar?
I have just upgraded my DSP5200s (SL), and DSP5200HC (SL) to the latest firmware (2.63) and would not mind a simpler way to activate/deactivate EBA than using the power-off-press-0 procedure using the remote for each speaker.
I also tried to find the latest list of RS232 commands but could not find them (in order to experiment).
1: 861v8+ID41, HD621, 2xDSP8000SE, DSP7200HC SE, 4xDSP33s, 2xAC12s, Sony VW500ES 4K projector, 132" 2.35:1 screen, SMT room treatment, Oppo103D, Roku 3, Plex, Sonos(wimp lossless).
2: 861v4.8+ID40, HD621, DSP5200SL (BRG), DSP5200HCSL, DSP3100s, AC11, D2500, Roku 3: Plex, Sonos.
4: MC200(Reviver), DSP3100s, SW1600, Sonos.
5: G68, DSP3100, DSP5000C.

Well...
The short answer is no.
I managed to control the system via an AC11 and its serial port using speaker RS232 commands. Even used the new "EA" command without actually knowing the exact syntax.
End result: managed to set the master speaker to EBA=SL (SpeakerLink control from processor) from previously EBA=Y, as well as activating Position = SL, etc. using the other new commands.
If I knew the syntax I might do better...
The main problem though is that the AC11 does not distribute the commands to the other speakers only to the master speaker. Consequently the approach does not work.
