Interesting.

I purchased one 3300, a pair of 3200 and two DSW under the understanding of being EBA ready.

What do you mean by "EBA-ready"?

EBA supported is more correct I guess. After a coming firmware upgrade (the one just launched plus the one coming up) 3300, 3200 and DSW should run EBA.

2 x DSW so you are from Osolo (not a typo), what is an extra zero or two between friends. As long as "The bottom's low and the treble's clear" who cares. TVZ

Hi,

Meridian will inform us when the DSW firmware which either gives EBA or the time delay requirement at present the DSW has no EBA present.

Presumably the known placement of a DSW would be critical when implementing EBA?

Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.

Purdeys, Moke, Leica, 'Blad. Only the best.

Could it be handled by MRC? As per the statement regarding further processor integration.

Hi,

I think this is a reason why it has not been done as yet, as more research and measurements to see if EBA or Time Delay within the DSW has the best results to give the best performance.

Let's wait for Meridian to do the work, whatever the R&D team come up with will be well thought out and give the performance we expect.

Regards
Edd

Agreed, just speculating on statements Meridian posted earlier.

Patience is a virtue I guess whistle

Hi, I received this:

This means that the 3200/3300 with DSW now becomes a great system to have as they now work much better as a system.

All the best

Does that mean that delaying 3200/3300 with a DSW is almost like an EBAing a full sized speaker (but in pieces). That sort of makes sense but isn't the same story that we're getting from HQ (which suggests EBA or Delay).

What is then the difference, EBA wise, to take any speaker and sub and add an appropriate delay?
