After some erratic performance from my G91A, losing sound and inconsistent behavior on power-up culminating in "DSP2 error" on the front panel I checked the forum and decided to try replacing the power supply. This unit was itself a replacement for a prior G91 that had expired after 5 years. Replacement lasted just over 2 years. I didn't want to face the expense or inconvenience of upgrading to something else. (Too much to replace a G91 with a SpeakerLink equipped G65 and then need a transport, tuner, etc. etc. Painful.)

I followed the wiki's Wiki's G68 PSU replacement instructions, (thanks to Jeje) which I found via Neil H's post on G91 power issues.

Pic of new / old power supplies. (Note the old one was already an ECM40 which evidently failed, making me a little concerned about how often I'll be doing this.)

It's been 48 hours and the unit is working fine. $53 plus $14 shipping for the ECM60UT31 (plus a soldering iron) was an absolute bargain. Very happy to have avoided both the inconvenience and expense of the alternatives and VERY grateful to the community, Jeje and Neil H in particular, for sharing the information that made this possible. Thank you all.

I'm posting this with some G91 power supply / DSP2 error references to make it a bit easier for anyone else to find, and to encourage them to give it a try. I didn't test the voltages - just replaced it and hoped for the best. So far so good. If I fixed it, so can you. Good luck!
