Which source button is your 596 mapped to on your processor?

Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.

Purdeys, Moke, Leica, 'Blad. Only the best.

With the 596 connected to your 565, which digital input is it connected to and when you have the 565 configured which source have you connected it to.
Example:- source CD, input DI, format Trifield, Comms 1C. (3c for DVD) Etc

It's all in the manual which you need to study. RTFM lol

Good luck, Chris smile

GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

Hi,

Not sure I understand, I've had this kit from new it worked ok until I changed the remote as MSR died so got MSR+.

Can you give me any quick pointers as I don't think I have the patience for a full M install.

Thanks Sean

Ok, if you have changed nothing then it is the remote that's at issue. The first three buttons on the left are dedicated to control Meridian equipment.
These will correspond to the first three on your old MSR.

The old LP button is the new DVD button. (3rd from left) the buttons are interchangeable so be mindful of how they are labeled.

If you press this to select DVD you should have control over the 596. To operate some functions you may have to also press "function" as well as the operation button.

As long as you used the LP button on your old remote originally.

Hope this helps, Chris smile

Hi Chris,

Yes I have that sorted. I thought I would try and re-type 596 but it won't have it kind of baffled at the moment. It looks like I may be in for a long day.
