Hi,
Just thought I would share this with you. What do you reckon the cost of a new set of boxes for a pair of 6ks and pair of 5ks a 5c and an 861 is ....

Where do they expect you to keep them, the 8000 boxes are the size of a small car!!!!!!

I know, them cardbord boxes are very expensive. I never thought that, but my 800 was a demo modell, but i got it with a new box, and they told me that alone was about 70 Euros or so.
I guess they have them made in small numbers, and everything in small production numbers is more expensive. The built quality is pretty good i think.

When I puchased my 5500s from a dealer in Florida, it was cheaper for him to have custom foam lined crates made than buy new boxes from Meridian. They are of course heavier, but since they had to be shipped by truck, the additional weight didn't really affect the shipping charges. Plus, you get two free coffee tables!
