There is a G08 on eBay. How some people get them so quick I don't know. I am still waiting for mine and paid full price. Oh well who would of thought one would come on e-bay so soon.
Do you think its a bit suspect?

Its not suspect. Im sure Paul, the seller, will chip in on its legitimacy.

Paul, the seller is on the level and well-connected! I have both sold to him and bought from him before with complete satisfaction.

sounds dodgy to me......why did the dealer not offer to exchange it for the other colour?

Hi Jim, Paul Van Veen is totally legit. If youy fancy the G08, why not just buy it from him? I'd have no hesitation.

Thanks for the advice. I have being waiting almost 2 months and having paid a fair old deposit to my dealer I'm stuck. They keep telling me next week and so on. This is my first trip into Meridian and so far my dealer sucks for contact and delivering on time. You live and learn and I only wished I'd have known one would come onto e-bay I'd have waited. Especially as it's almost �500 cheaper than I am paying!!!

Meridian are a great company, very hi tech etc. EXCEPT when it comes to delivery new products, the concept of lean production / just-in-time is not something that they are good at.

I also get the feeling that M's biggest market (USA) gets the first fruits of the production line and us poor Brits have to wait.

Business - is - business! With the $ so low against the pound I wonder what Meridian have done re pricing, it might even be worth getting on a flight to the states (avoid Virgin, bad joke sorry) and bring back whatever you need.
