I have a F80 and enjoyed listening to the radio.
Unfortunately in Holland they decided to go for a DAB+ and are now switching to DAB+ ... so no more radio.

Does Meridian have a software or hardware update?

I know this doesn't help you but on BBC radio 4 today a spokeswoman for the DAB in the UK revealed further expansion of the dab coverage and signal increases in many areas.
On the point of DAB+ they said that it would be introduced alongside DAB in the future as too many DAB radios had been sold. The comment was that they were not in the business of taking things away from consumers.
BBC dab

Apologies for the hijack. Chris smile

No 18 in the Hall of fame smile I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best:
GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

I asked the question of Meridian a couple of years ago. It would need to be a hardware replacement and the answer was essentially "no".

We're sorry that the broadcasters have decided to take this course of action.

I was quite annoyed when I realized that the F80 didn't have DAB+ support, but it's a moot point now as I just use it as a portable DSP speaker unit which is fed by a Squeezebox (for internet radio).
