Hi,

Just to say there are a pair of Meridian DSP 6000's on eBay.

Don't worry it's not a scam - you can come and see them at my house if you like !

Quieter speakers! We have a baby on the way and are moving house smile
I can't really see me blasting out music and movies for quite a few years. I must say I have enjoyed the speakers enourmously - I can finally say I have heard 'real' hifi but alas I am going to have to do without for the next few years.

no,no,no dont do it. I have a 20 month old who sleeps right about a M&K Sub and 2 x DSP 5000's plus centre.

He sleeps through every movie going including POD race at volumes of 72-78 on a 568v2.

Make noise while they are young, the babe probably sat through movies whilst in mummys tummy so will like the sounds.

When they are ill you proabably have to kay off a little with the movies but other than that no problem.

If the WAF or you need the money then said to hear it other than that keep them,
just my experiences

I agree with Tony - don't do it. Baby's are quite adaptable. Plus, it's never too early to start developing the next golden ear. Quality, not quantity...
